my dog is skittish

I'm wondering weather or not I should take my dog to the groomers for a haircut She's deaf and blind and she's a handleful espcially when i give her a bath, should I cut her hair on my own or take her to a groomers with a percuationary warning for them?  This has me worried for quite some time thank you for your answer.

Hi Juanita,
I would groom her at home if you can.  I have had many deaf and blind dogs come in from grooming and it is WAY to stressful for them.  They are scared to death and rightly so.  If you can - try to keep her happy at home.  She will feel better being able to smell her mom and know she is safe at home.
