Razor burn

Question
My dog was groomed last Thursday by a new groomer.  She was burnt by the groomer who denies doing anything wrong.  I have pictures of my dogs injuries.  Can someone look at the picture and confirm whether or not this is a razor burn? Or if they have ever seen this type of injury on a dog? I clearly see no hair on the left side of her anus and the path of the clipper.  I have taken her to the vet who says it is a 3 inch burn.  The owner of the place will not speak with me and has never met me or my dog.

Answer
Have your Vet fill out a paper stating that in his EXPERT opinion, the dog has a razor burn, present a notorized copy of this to the shop owner, and ask for your money back, you COULD try for 'damages' and Vet fees but will have to go to small claims court to get that.

To be fair, has your dog been to this groomer before? Does it have a history of not behaving for groomers?  Most groomers go out of their way to NOT hurt a dog, they want a happy customer that will keep coming back and leaving tips!  However, if you think that this was sheer negligance, then pursue it to it's upmost.
