Standard Podle

Question
About two days after being groomed my Standard Poodle has been keeping his tail tucked close to his bum. I can't see any, but could the problem be that he has been nicked in that area.

He probably had his anal glands expressed which is something that needs to be done for the dogs health, but it bothers some dogs.  He should be over it in a couple days.  I know standard poodles are easily embarrassed and honestly that could be the case if it was shaved too close, if it were nicked you'd definitely be able to see it.
