How are Golden Retrievers when they are on a plane?

Question
I have 2 Golden Retrievers and I want to go to Florida, are they good on Air planes?

Answer
I'm sorry, this really isn't my area of expertise.  What I can tell you is that your dog will not be allowed to ride in the cabin unless they are service dogs.  They will have to ride in the cargo area.  If you are simply going on vacation I would make other arrangements for the dogs while you're gone.  If you are moving then by all means fly them along with you.  I promise you that your dogs would rather spend a little time in the cargo area of a plane than have to start all over again with a new family.  Perhaps better and less expensive would be renting a car and driving with your furkids.  For more detailed and accurate information on the plane ride please call your airline and ask them what your dogs will experience, what will be required for them to fly, and what the cost will be.  I've added a link to american airlines page with FAQ about traveling with pets. Good luck and best wishes to you and your furkids!
