Pet hair

Question
Hello!

I hope that I am not bothering you with this question, but I figured a groomer might be a great person to ask regarding this matter.

I am the proud owner of five pets (three cats and two dogs).  Whenever I do laundry, the pet hair gets recirculated in the washer and dryer (I assume) and all of my black clothes have hair all over them, even when clean.

Do you have any tricks of the trade for this issue? I have tried fabric softener sheets, lint brushes, etc. and my pets are groomed every two weeks.  Is there anything I can put in the washer or dryer to help?

Thanks so much for your time.

Answer
Oh, no bother at all,,
I understand the problem with dog hair, and there isn't too much you can do except when you DO wash the clothes, make sure there is MORE than enough water in the washer to float the hair away and do not overpack the dryer.
In addition, the material you choose for your clothing needs to not be sweatshirt type material, which is the worst for hair collection.
I have found from doing loads of dog towels and the blankies that they lay on twice a week, that BIG amounts of water to small amounts of the laundry is the only thing that helps.
I hope this helps you, at least some,,
