Certification

Jessica,
I have been grooming dogs for 4 years now. But, I learned how to groom from a lady that has her own shop and has been grooming for over 20 years. I now work for a girl that has less experience than me. I have made a decision to open my own shop at my house. My question is this: How do I go about getting certified with out going to a very expensive school?

This website has info on becoming certified. I work for a store so I went through them but as far as I know getting the certifications is not necessary.  You have the experience and I'm sure can give references.  Good luck.
