grooming a toy poodle

I have a toy poodle that has never been trimmed. I want to trim him myself but don't know the different styles. I don't want a poofy puppy but i do want him to be neat and healthy. Where can I find the different styles to see what I want for him?

One option for you would be to go into a local groomer and discuss different styles that are available. Or, you could go into a book store, and buy a poodle book, pick out a style that you like, and then take it into a local groomer and ask what blades are required to do that cut. There are millions of different styles that you could do on a poodle, so I have a hard time telling you what to use. If you can find a picture that you like online and email me the link, then I could help you determine which tools you will need, and how to do it!! That is probably the fastest and best option for you!!
