Not eating

Hi
I have a 15 month beagle. He has just started (1 week) not eating his food. We
feed him Eukanuba in the morning and evening (daily amount split) He has
never had a propblem before all ways licks his bowl clean and them some.
Now he just looks at it sniffs it gives me a sad look and walks away. When he
dose eat he dosnt look happy and a big effort to eat it.
There has never been any health problems in the past. His eyes have started
to produce more sleep (eye goo) than before could this be related?

If a dog that normally has a good appetite suddenly quits eating, it needs to see a vet. Something is wrong, and the vet can tell what it is and prescribe an effective remedy. I think it has had time to go away on its own.  I once let a Shepherd go for days on nibbles, but my Labs go to the vet the first meal they miss.
