Can we mate our Boston Terriers if the female weighs only 15 pounds and is 2 years old with a male Boston who weighs 23 pounds and is 8 years old and in great health?

That should not be a problem.

However, I have to say something here... and I know you may be upset by me saying this, but there is a lot to know about breeding and raising puppies than having 2 dogs who are willing.

Please take both your dogs to the vet and tell him of your intentions. He will be able to tell you for certain whether or not they are both healthy enough for this.  he will also be able to instruct you of the technical points.

Then you need to do lots of reading about preparing for and raising pups... not to mention all the shots, worming, and for bostons, tail docking and ear cropping.

I am not well versed in this stuff, but I do know it's not as simple as it seems.
