Cairn Terriers

Question
I have a two year old full breed German Sheperd named Max and was looking into getting him a play-mate (max is fixed)and my family and I are really interested in a Cairn Terrier. I have done some research on them but cant find if those two breeds would be ok together. Please help.

As long as your shepard is well behaved and has a good temperment you should be ok. Mixing any two breeds is a gamble, especially with such a drastic size difference, but if you get the new dog as a puppy and introduce them slowly and carefully, your chances of having two loving dogs, and compaions s much greater than worse!
