Jack Russell vomitting

Question
Hi, my jack russell vomits everyday. 98% is clear fluid and sometimes a little bit of food or treat (whatever he just ate). And most of the time it comes up and back down his throat without actually coming out of his mouth. He's been this way for about a year, but i'm wondering if he has acid reflux or just a sensitive stomach. I switched his food to a vegetarian brand but after a while he wouldn't eat it a got really skinny. So I am feeding him now Nutro all natural lamb and rice and he likes it. It's just that he keeps throwing up in his mouth. Are there any home remedies?

Please make sure you are feeding him 2 meals a dog. Dogs who eat only once a day commonly have this kind of problem.

The other thing to watch is whether or not he's just gulping his food. Again, a dog who eats too fast will commonly have gas bubbles that make the food come back up.  This can be solved by a couple of big rocks in the food dish, or they make dishes like that.

If you're feeding Nutro Natural Choice, you should be OK. Nutro Max is a food that I could not recommend to anyone. I do not feed any corn, wheat, soy or by-products.

I suspect his ptoblem is one of the 2 situations above.

Let me know if I'm off base and we'll see what we can figure out.
