Question
Slimmy
Hi, we have a pug/jack russel cross, she is 4.5 years old, healthy and happy.
She gets walked 2 - 3 times a day. Just returned from 40 minute walk in -4
degrees celcius winter weather, which we have done countless times before.
However tonight when we returned and she settled on my lap for a sleep she
was trembling from head to tail with every inhale breath see takes. The only
thing I noticed different was near the end of our walk she seemed a little tired
and her second poop (usually 2 - 3 per walk) was loose. Any ideas what this
might be and is it serious.
Thanks,
John

AnswerJohn,
I have found that pugs do fine in cold weather, if they are use to it. If she has been taking these walks without problems, I do not thing this walk would be any different.
40 minutes seems long, but again, if she is use to this long of a walk, she should be fine.
Maybe when it is cold you should limit the length of the walks.
Please see a vet if you have any more concern!!!
