QuestionHello, I was wondering if there is a huge difference in temperment and persoanily between a pug and boston terrier? i've a boston terreir now she is very loving...gives kisses all the time...will jump up on and follow my neices around until she knocks them over to lick them! and does well with my other dogs thou she gets mad if anyone trys to take her toys. I would love to get a black pug in another year or two but I was wondering what there persoanility was like? also do pugs have the average dog lifespan of 11-13 years or is there shorter?
AnswerI would say their lifespan, depending on genetics and how they are cared for may be a bit longer. I have several 13 year old and up that are in great shape.
I have never had a Boston but I believe since they are terriers, they are more hyper then a pug.
Black pugs are a bit different then fawns, they have a wee bit more devil in them.
