Home remedies for upset tummy

I would like to know what I can give my miniature poodle who is 3 years old for an upset stomach. He very rearely gets one but every now and then it happens.

I give mine Pepto Bismol.  I picked up one of those syringes that you can shoot the medicine back and right down the throat (they are not thrilled with the taste of it) and that seems to help a great deal. My vet suggested it awhile back, and I give the equivilant of one tablespoon to a miniature sized dog.  It seems to settle things pretty much right down.

A generic brand of the 'pink stuff' works as well - I have some currently from Walgreens and it works just as well as the name brand Pepto Bismol.
