Question
Over the past few days, my yorkshire terrier/poodle mix has been vomiting yellow and brown constantly. He also randomly whimpered throughout the day. When my vet was finally available, he simply checked up my dog but said nothing was wrong. Yesterday, my dog did not vomit all day, so I assumed that the vet was correct. However, today he vomited 5 times a yellow mucus-y puddle. I'm worried about him. Do you know what could be wrong?

Answer
Hello Dee,
Since I am not able to see your dog and an not a Vet, all that I write here will be speculation only and any suggestions that I give will only be what I would do.

Sounds like its some kind of stomach upset.  I would first give your dog 3 cc's of Pepto Bismal, then cook him some brown rice with a little chicken broth for him to eat.
I would give him about 1/4 cup twice a day and see if he eats that for a couple of days.
Also, check his stool.  If its runny then you might want to take a sample in to your Vet (it could be a bacteria or worms).  If its solid and normal looking, then I wouldn't be as concerned.

I wish I could suggest more to you, but without seeing your dog or knowing more of his history, this is about the best I can do.
