My toy poodle is 9 yrs.old and he has bright red blood in his uerine. He has also started hiking his leg frequently. with no uerine comming out. And then he comes in the house and lays   in Mom or Dads lap and wets. Also wets in our bed. This comming from a completely out door trained little guy????? Seems to feel fine has not lost appitate and drinks normally as far as I can tell. He weights 7 lbs.

Hello Irene,
It could be a number of things that is going on with your dog.  He could have a stone or cyst that is making it hard for him to urinate, so that when he strains, it ruputures blood veins in his bladder, causing the bleeding.  He could also have a bladder infection that could make him have to go more often and could also cause incontience.  It could also have been damage to the outside of his penis, so you might check to see that the tip of it isn't injured or bleeding.  It could also be a neurological issue that is causing him to potty inside on you or your husbands lap.  

Since I am not comfortable giving a diagnosis here on line, you might want to call your Vet and talk it over with him to see if he needs to see your dog, as these signs are not normal.
