Question
Can you please tell me the difference between a miniature, toy, tiny toy, and teacup poodle?

Answer
Well first off there is no such thing as a tiny toy, teacup, or even pocket poodle or any other term they are using now days.  Those terms are just marketing gimmicks used to sell puppies that are very tiny.  The sad thing is that most of these super tiny puppies are just bred with money in mind and no care to their health, the breed standard, or conformation.  These puppies are usually riddled with major health issues and genetic defects and do not live long.  So sad when you consider the huge amounts of money that many of these puppies command and then the person is out even more money on vet bills and possible without a dog in extreme cases.
There are 3 varieties of poodles
The standard poodle- which was the original size.  Everything was bred down from the standard poodle, mostly for companion purposes.  The standard stands over 15 inches at the top of the withers (shoulders).
The miniature poodle- which is over 10 inches up to 15 inches at the withers.
The toy poodle - which is 10 inches and under at the withers.
There are no weight restrictions on the poodle.  It is the height of the poodle that makes it one variety or another.
