Gray vs. Silver Standard Poodles

I would like to see pictures showing gray versus silver standard poodles. I just purchased a puppy sold as a silver but on the breeder info given to me she wrote gray as the color. ??????

Hello Amy,
From all I have heard about Gray vs Silver Poodles, Gray just tends to be a shade of Silver rather than a color by itself.  Silver Poodles are born Black and fade to anything from a Pewter Gray (which is very dark) to a Platinum (which is almost White).  Gray would be somewhere in-between the dark and light.  Your Poodle is still considered Silver.  If you would like to send me a Photo of your dog, I could get a better idea of what color your dog should be called.
