Puppies

I have a toy poodle named CoCo and she has a fairly large stomach to be her size. If you lay her on her back, you can kind of see the imprint of the puppies and there is like four. I guess what the real question is "How many puppies will a toy poodle usually have?" I just do not want her to carry more than she can handle. We actually did not know she was pregnancy until a week ago. So, how can I tell, on my own, when she will be due.

Toy poodles will have anywhere from 2-6 puppies in a litter.  You have no baring on how many puppies she will have.  You need to get her to your vet ASAP.  An Xray needs to be done and asertained if she can have these puppies without help.  You need to have your vet ready if you need to have a c-section.  And plan on big money for it too.  If you can start to see puppies moving then she is due very soon.  So get her to the vet NOW!  DO NOT WAIT!  Just cause you can feel or see 4 puppies doesnt mean there are only 4.  It is impossible to know until and xray is done and even that isnt 100%.  There could be puppies hiding.
You did not see or count the days when she tied with the male?? Do you even know who the father is?  Or what breed?  Is the father her size or smaller?  If not you better PLAN on a c-section.   To be a responsible breeder you need to keep track of these things.  gestation on a dog is 63 days. If you do not inted to breed the dog she needs to be spayed as soon as possible after she has these puppies.
