length of pregnancy

I had my parents dog over christmas and my poodle was in heat. How long is the pregnancy if she was , and what are some signs.

My apologies - I have always had my animals spayed & neutered, so have never dealt with a pregnant dog.  After working in the humane shelter as a volunteer and seeing all the abused, neglected and undwanted animals, I am really diligent about making sure not to add to the animal population. :)
