Question
QUESTION: I am wondering what I can do to get my two year old teacup poodle to stop shitting on the carpet in the basement as soon as the temp goes to -15 deg.cel. Only time he does is when temp. is colder?

ANSWER: Try to learn his schedule or signs he needs to go out.  Then take him out and walk him around.  They can only walk and hold it so long.  When he finally has a bowel movement, lavish praise on him and quickly go back in.  As he catches on that he will be out there until producing, you both may be able to get back in sooner.

QUESTION: his schedule is sometime in the middle of the night when I am sleeping, also when I take him out in the cold within seconds he start getting cold then he siezes up and can't or won't move and he will just sit down. Iam sure he would not last long outside in the cold, What can I do?

Answer
If getting out in front and coaxing doesn't get a puppy moving, try dropping behind it and running by in baby steps calling ''Go, go, go!'' In a happy, excited voice.

You might try a sweater too.  They are open at the back and shouldn't get soiled.
