Question
Boy do I hope you can help !  We have 7 month old male toy(Larry) . Who has an odd habit of licking the ears of our 4 year old bullmastiff(Sabath) and any  other part that he can get to. He has been tolerant up til now . But as Larry seems to get worse Sabath is starting to lose his temper more often . This does not seem to detour Larry. What should we do?

Answer
Poodles love other dogs and get along well in a group.  This is normal pack behavior.  He is cleaning And caring for the other dog in his mind.  You will have to get involved and stop your toy poodle from doing this before he gets hurt.  I would for sure not leave the two alone together unsupervised.  When your toy Larry starts doing this behavior I would recomend telling him NO and then redirecting his attention to his favorite toy or chew.  You could also try spraying bitter apple spray or bitter lime spray onto your Mastiff in the sopts that Larry likes to lick.  He wont like the taste and that should help. If that doesnt work you may have to resort to more drastic measures.
