parvo question

i had a 2 month old puppy and 8 month old dog never had shots then i gave the 8 month old away and the 2 month old died of parvo i tried my hardest to save him and it tour me apart i bleached my house and im getting a 2 year old black lab the owner says shes had shots but dont know which ones can this 2 year old black lab catch parvo?

Yes they can, but likely it has had effective shots.  Most vets now give combo shots that protect against several things.  Still, unless it has been 6 months, the ground outside will still have parvo virus waiting for its next victim.  One good thing I can say is that a 2 year old lab is big enough to have a much better chance of surviving it if it does get parvo.
