ill and very brave dog

black labrador age 7 male dog very lively dog started sickness and dioreor took vets they did not no what was wrong till 9 days later did xray found babys dummy inside him, messed his bowel up very bad hes drinking small amounts but still very poorly and wont eat please any ideas of what we could coax him to eat, or what to give him to aid his recovery he is trying very hard to stay alive and we would apriciate any advice yiu could give  best regards rose

Usually when a Lab won't eat, it is a serious problem.  I am fighting this witha 14 year old with cancer in her jaw.  Have you tried chees, peanut butter, canned dog chow, canned cat food?  There are times you have to forget a balanced diet and get some calories into the dog.  The stronger smelling stuff, the more likely he will eat some.
