lab exercise

Hi, how much exercise should i give my 1 year old labrador, so he remains calm in the house.

I can't be sure how much exersie exactly a labrador reteiverneeds daily but with my lab she gets walked once in the morning before work for about 10 minutes its a nice lenth walk but shes crated most of the day but someone elts her out two or three tmes a day in our large yard. She is very hyper in the vening thou she is 3 years old to let you know, i am considering walking a longer walk after work to calm her down, I reccomend at lest a half hour worth of walking a day or exercising in a lrge yard such as running around or fetching ect, if you don't have a yard or have only a small one take him out for a run rather then a walk it will 'poop him out' and he will be calm and peaceful and go for a nap.
