female or male

which is better?a female lab or a male lab?they said and as i have a female lab,female are smarter?but male are stronger!

Labs and other breeds vary so much from one dog to the next, I can't give you any such rule.  The males in general may average more affectionate, stronger willed, better to stay on task, but harder to manage.  Partly ''good'' depends what you need.  The dog guide school I raise puppies for uses several breeds and mixes to have a wide variety of personalities to match to the needs of the dogs' partners.  Their breeding program produces equal number of males and females and most of both graduate.
