Question
Right now my 4 year old Black Lab is eating Beniful original dry food.  She is getting bored with it and is starting to not eat.  Are there good commercial dog foods?  If so can you please recomend some?

Thank you,
Will

Answer
Hello Will and thank you for your question,

I reccomend a better brand name with perferibly no by-products in it like beaniful has.

If your on a budget I understand feeding less expensive foods but if you can spare a few extra bucks heres what I reccomend:

#1 Athourty from petsmart its great food my dogs love it and it coems on sale fofen if you have a pet perks card(used to be free) you can get a huge bag for a great price plus its got no by-products in it.

#2 Nutro makes great foods all type all no by-product foods but very expensive

#3 Purina one has by-products in it but it is higher quaility then purina dog chow

#4 Peddigree has by-prodcuts by is ok quailty as well

I recocmend staying away from Iams and Eukanuba just because of what they do if you check out : http://www.iamscruelty.com/ you wont ever want anything to do with them.

In the end it really comes down to what yuor dog will eat having top quaility 50 dollar for 20 pounds of food isnt really great if the dog wont touch it, as long as the quaility is fair and the dog will eat it go for it, Ps: Look for foods without too much corn/wheat and "animal" by-prodcuts you do want to know whats in your dog food, There ashould be meat within the first three ingredients for it to be an o.k food to deal with. I hope this helps if you have any more questions feel fre to ask.
