Lab puppy underweight

Question
Hey i recently got a lab puppy and she was underweight when
i got her she is now 11 weeks old and weights 12 lbs the vet
said she should wait more and im taking her back to the vet
in 3 weeks and the vet said she should be around 17-20 lbs.
I feed her about a cup 3 times a day i dont know what else
should i do to make her eat more cause i dont think shell
gain that weight. maybe you can help me thanks

Usually it is no problem keeping weight on a Lab.  She should eat it if you give her more.  You should be feeding a puppy chow now. Switching to an adult chow for the larger breeds at 4 months, slows growth and helps develop sturdier joints.

Your dog definitely should be narrower at the waist than the hips and chest. You should be able to easily feel the ribs, but not see them. Each dog is different. Standard recommendations are a good place to start, but each dog must have its food and exercise adjusted to its individual needs.
