Question
Thank you so much for your time.  I have one more question.  My puppy got into some cedar chips at my moms house and now has very bad diarrhea. I have been giving him rice with a little dog food.  Are cedar chips toxic?  The vet said they could have cut his insides. Would he be showing any signs of this. He is running around playing like a puppy should.  thank you so much.  sorry its so long

Hello.  I have a 6 months old lab/chow puppy.  He has a lot of toys but love the stuffed ones, the only problem is he pulls the stuffing out and them can't pass it.  Is there a better kind of stuffed toy that I could give him?  Thank you very much for you time.

Hello,

The only toys I reccomend for large dogs at all are Kongs and Nyla bones...durible in each variety, try a google serch on the kong dog toy company and the nyla bone dog toy company, there avalible in pet shops, grocery stores and walmrt....don't get the "fake" brands of them thou because they only get chewed up.

Answer
hello, no porlbem, Ceder chips and shavings are toxic to any animal and in lose quarters can make people ill as well. As long as they are coming out in his poop and he is active and eating he is fine, somethings like this can cut there intestins and stomic but not always so it seems in this case they have passed through.
