How long out side is to much.

I have a 3 year old lab/ husky mix. Yes i did get him fixed. I rescued him last summer so this is are first winter together. He loves the snow. he never wants to come in. My question is, Do you think i should put a dog house out back in the fenced yard or will it be too cold for him.

Does he come in at night?  We once had a dog that loved to lay outside at the top of a hill where he could see everything on the street.  In the winter, as soon as the sun set, he was ready to come in.  Your dog might find a good tight dog house filled with straw a good place for a break.  I have always tried to let my dogs out when they want to be out and in when they want to be.  An adult Lab/Husky should adjust to being out if that is where he is happy.  I wouldn't let guilt make me keep him in if he seems to want to be out.
