lab puppy drooling

I have a 9 month old black lab puppy.  He is not a drooling dog, but the last day and a half he has been drooling excessivley.  Is this a problem?

Examine his mouth as carefully as he will let you.  If you see any problems, you may want to take him to the vet.  Otherwise keep an eye on him.  Some dogs drool more than others.  A sudden increase could indicate he has a problem.  When you do take him to the vet, ask about it.  That may be a while, you are past the time where it seems more shots every week.
