Rawhide chews

My breeder said never to let Labs have rawhide chews  because of their stomachs.

Hello DAvid Porter and thank you for your question,

Many, many breeders say no rawhides, It is because if the swollow large chunks it can cause chocking or obtstruction of the intestions. I feed my lab rawhides because they keep her teeth healthy and strong and she enjoys them. She is perfectly healthy. Its up to you to feed rawhides or not. I don't reccomend rawhides for pups under 6 months however because of stomach sensitivity in puppies.(the dog would likely throw it back up)
