3 month old black lab with a 2 year old German Shepard

I have a spayed German Shepard 2 years old who is as smart as her K9 parents.  I just got a 3 month old neutered black lab who is smart as well.  I walk Nya (German Shepard) 1 hour a day everyday.  When can I start to take Chocolate with us?  And do you have anything that is important that I should keep in mind while training him?

I would try taking him by himself on similar walks and see how he does.  If he seems to be enjoying it and not stopping or lagging, perhaps try them together.  I would make sure bot are trained to walk well on lead before taking them out together.  

The key to most behavior problems is approaching things using the dog's natural instincts. Dogs see all the people and dogs in the household as a pack with each having their own rank in the pack and a top dog. Life is much easier if the 2 legged pack members outrank the 4 legged ones. You can learn to play the role of top dog by reading some books or going to a good obedience class. A good obedience class or book is about you being top dog, not about rewarding standard commands with a treat.
