Question
Hi, I ve a 44month old male labrador, he does have skin issues from a month now. Doc says its a bacterial infection which he has from his childhood but this year its alot!!! he is also not been mated till now and i have started to worry about the same. His testicles look a little bigger or swollen. In this state he cannot be mated also as he has the skin problem. Please help me

Answer
I too would not breed a dog with a skin problem, because many times it's a side affect of an allergy and you do not want t pass that on to the next generation.

I am not sure what the question about the testicles.  They are bigger than normal?  I would have the vet check as that can be the first sign of testicular cancer.

Honestly, if the dog is not in dog shows, trained, and doing performance events, and you are not a knowledgable breeder, please just nueter the dog.  There are enough labs in the shelters from folks that don't have a clue about breeding.
