labs diet

Question
I have a 6 y/o female who was overweight and put on a diet consisting of 2 cups of mixed vegetables and 2 cups of dry food by our vet. I am now concerned that she seems to have lost too much weight (you can see bones) The vet tells me she is fine. She is down fom 38kg to 24kg and still appears to be happy and active but I am not sure.

Trust your vet.  In general if anything, they are too lenient on overweight.  Check her as illustrated in this link, http://www.puppychow.com/products/popup_body_condition.aspx
