purity of labrador

sir i m seeing a labrador to buy n have seen one also.
i just wana ask tha what are the main things which would help me to check the purity of a labrador
puppy of 9 weeks

There is very little you can do.  I see many Labs not bred for show and Lab crosses.  Depending what it is crossed with,  many crosses look more like pure Labs than many pure Labs.  Some show people are quick to label anydog that doesn't meet their standards as a mix or ''poorly bred''.  That isn't so.  A dog that is sturdy, healthy, intelligent, well behaved, and ready to excel at work is was bred for is much better bred than many show champions.
