Question
we are purchasing a black female and a yellow male.(2 different litters) the one we are getting the black female from said to NEVER breed a black and a yellow...just black and black or black and chocolate. is that true...should we get a black male...or still get the yellow male.

Answer
Hello I'd get away from tat breeder that is compelty not true, My own lab is a cross between a yellow and chocolate lab shes black...as were her 11 litter mates! I offen see lab puppies for sale black father yellow mother or vice versa, Get whatever colored labs you'd like I see no reason why you cant breed different colored labs together even top breeders of show dogs breed yellows to black or chocloates to either... the puppies tend to be assorted colors in litters most of the time anyways.
