Lab puppy exercise

thank you for your reply, the only thing is when they play together the run around like mad things and never keep still.  the other dog is not mine, it belong to my parents. they play in the garden for about 1 hour every other day, its a big garden and they do run around a lot.

hi, I have an 8 week old puppy how much exercise a day should he have.  I have read that too much can damage his growth? he loves to play with an 8 month  old companion but i,m not sure how long they should play together for.

Hello Martene and thank you for your question, Do you mean yyou own two dogs and they are palying together? If so let them play its ok, you just don't want to over walk or jog/run a small puppy lab or toherwise, but with labs too much exercise through running and wlaking can cause joint problmes in the future.

This cannot be helped if the other dog is living in the home they will play and play until they drop its how dogs are, I can't say if this is harmful or not but I'd say problay not I'm not a vet so can't give you the exact anwser your looking for sorry.
