breed of dog

hello we rescued a dog just after Christmas and we took him to the vet they said he is probably staff lab but i have been looking at lab cross pitbull and he looks more like a lab cross pitbull here is a pic so you and judge it yourself

Unfortunately, there is really no way to tell what breed your dog is mixed with.  Many times labs, pointers, German Shorthair pointers, weimeraners all that have LAB look when mixed with another dog.

And Pitbull and Stafforshire Terrier, while different breeds, do look the same and are often lumped together.  Many opt to call them Staffies to try to remove the bad connotation pits get.
