95% Black Lab, with a bit of chocolate thrown in!

Question
I adopted my Lab puppy from the MHS in August. We were told he's probably a full black Lab. The original owner had a litter and couldn't care for them so she turned them in. There were two black and one chocolate in the litter brought in. My lab has brown fur between his toes in his webbing and some around his face. He's almost 17 weeks and his coat looks like he's lost all his baby hair so he's sleek, shiny and jet black except for these very dark brown patches where I mentioned. Is this normal in a mixed litter of colors? Also, when do they get all their adult teeth, the razor baby teeth are on their way out and not a moment too soon, ouch!

Answer
Hello and thank you for your question,

Congrats on your new puppy as well. Yes this is very normal my black female 3 year old labrador retreiver was from a yellow mother and chocolate father 12 Black puppies were in teh litter she came from, she has chocolate tinting around her nose/neck and back its quite amusing. Baby teeth are ussally starting to come out at 4 months and should be the permanant adult teeth by 6/7 months at the latest.
