Crate for my Year old Lab

Question
I have a year old lab and he now has a wire crate with a removable plastic pan.  He cracked the pan a few months ago and I promptly replaced it so he would.  He has now cracked the second pan in multiple places and if I keep replacing the pan, eventually I have paid for a new crate.  Is there a suggestion as to the type of crate I should get so I don't keep having to replace the pans?  I have a smaller dog and this type works well for her, unfortunately the larger crates do not have sturdier pans...

I would appreciate any help you can give.

Answer
I have never had this problem with my wire crates and the pans.  You MAY want to consider getting a piece of plywood cut to the same size as a pan and put that in instead.

Otherwise, you might want to consider buying a varikennel.  They are basically 2 pieces, a top and bottom, and all plastic.
