Question
Sorry, I probably could have found my answer if I went thru all of the questions, however, my 12 year old choc lab has been biting his two back hind legs to wear he is eating the hair and throwing it up.  He is a retired police drug dog due to dysplesia(sp) What do I do to get him to quit chewing????

Answer
This is not a question about labs, but a general dog health question.

Unfortunately, chewing could be several things.

Mange or a skin disorder.

Allergies.

Often chewing a spot is a response to pain in that area.

I would take the dog to the vet and see what they can diagnose.
