Question
HELP!  We have a male choc lab puppy who is 3 1/2 months old (Born Sept 22).  Since the beginning we have used a crate but it does not help.  We take him out to do his business and he'll pee pee right after he comes in.  And he goes every time you put him in the crate-we've tried everything but noting is working.  We'll take in outside to do his business before bed, once he goes, we bring him in and put him in his crate and sometimes he'll pee right away.  No matter where he is, he'll just go-even after going outside and doing his business.  Please help us!!

Answer
When you take him out, try walking him around.  They can only walk and hold it so long.  Lavish praise on him when he goes.

Try a Kong filled with peanut butter when you put him in the crate.  I think much of the fouling the crate is due to stress.  I don't like drugging dogs, but medicine from the vet may be the solution.
