Question
At what age is it okay to start feeding a puppy two meals a day instead of three?  Our pup is 6 1/2 months old.

Thanks!

Answer
Any time after 3 months is OK.  At that age you could even cut back to one if you want.  I would also switch to an adult chow if you are feeding a puppy chow.  Switching to an adult chow for the larger breeds ear;y, slows growth and helps develop sturdier joints.

Your dog definitely should be narrower at the waist than the hips and chest. You should be able to easily feel the ribs, but not see them. Each dog is different. Standard recommendations are a good place to start, but each dog must have its food and exercise adjusted to its individual needs.
