My puppies sleeping.......

How many hours do Lab puppies usually sleep, because my puppy has been sleeping a lot. She is sometimes drowsy and whines a lot. We try to play with her and pay attention to her, but it only works at times. Is there something we should do ??

Hello Jessica and thank you for your questions, It depends how old the puppy is...younger puppies 2-4 months sleep alot of the time, Whinning is ussal for small puppies when they are left alone or need to go out/are hungry or want to play they may whine...thou if the whinning is constant and persists it may be the dog has something wrong and needs vetrenary treatment... but it seems normal if you can give me more information about your puppy I might be able to help more.
