Question
my dogs is 18 months and her last heat moment was in September 2009 is it the now the time of heat for her and how will i no when she is ready to be bread

Answer
Your dog is too young to be bred.  Labs cannot have all the testing done on whether they have hereditary problems until they are over 2 years of age.  And they cannot be bred unless they pass all those tests.

Here's a link that tells you about what tests are needed:

If you do not show or do performance events with your dog, you do not even know if your dog is a good specimen of the breed.  We have plenty of labs and lab X's in the shelters that were bred by Back Yard Breeders just because they thought they had the right too because they own a dog and buy it dog food.  Many labs have crippling hip dysplasia, go blind, and have temperaments not suitable to be reproduced in a litter of puppies.

Above all, please ask yourself if you are willing to risk the life of your bitch and have her die during whelping.  And also ask yourself if you want to see all the problems than CAN happen to puppies born such as horrendous birth defects.
