lab with seizures - Posting from April 2007

Hi Labman, my friend has a chocolate lab that just started having seizures.  He's about 2 yrs old and was fine up until a couple months ago...your posting sounds quite similar to what's going on with him.  The vet just chalked it up to idiopathic epilepsy, but I was wondering what the outcome was with your dog?  Perhaps this is the correct diagnosis, but I thought if your vet or neuro specialist came to another conclusion I could pass the info along. Thanks!

I don't remember the details of the April post, and I find it difficult to find old ones.  Likely I talked about the one puppy from the dog guide program.  I don't believe the vets ever made a definite diagnoses on her.  She was dropped from the dog guide program.  I haven't talked to the family that had her since she returned.  I am sorry I am not very much help.
