pregancy

My lab had a litter of puppys in July and is in heat now, I think she and my male lab have stuck last night. Is it safe for her to get pregnant so fast.

Technicly no, sure a dog can be bred every time she come sinto heat but its very hard on the dogs system and eventually the litters will start showing sickly or weak puppies, Think of having a babby and being pregnant a month later and doing this every year until you couldnt anymore or died of over reproduction....does sound nice does it.
