Question
i have just got a 1 month old golden Labrador pup. he is healthy and eats well. i feed him milk and dog cerelac. how many times in a day should i feed him. he sleeps almost 15-16 hours a day. is that normal? he plays for about 15 - 20 Min before he sleeps off again. is that normal? should i add anything else to his diet?

Answer
Hi Kapil,

First of all - this is the cutest age for your lab. ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS YOU CAN.

Don't worry, your lab pup will tire out easily. Very soon he will start to play longer. For now he'll play for 15 mins and get tired so he needs to sleep to regain his strength.

Sleeping is good for him - let him sleep. : )

Your diet is ok. But i suggest you move to a brand called ROYAL CANINE. It's cost you about INR 1K a month. But it's worth it. It'll really help his bones and overall health.

Feed him 4 times a day. Not more than that. Do this till about 4 months. Connect with me again after a month, i'll help you with his diet and some tips on training. Email me directly - its easier for me to reply.

Also send me some snaps.

Best,
Sameer
