How much to feed?

20 9:49:32

Question
I have a healthy active 4 month old male lab who is 27 pounds.
We feed him Nutro puppy for large breed, along with carrots,
broccoli and Nutro can food (not all at once, we feed 4 times/
day).  The suggested feeding amount on the bag seems out of
whack, can you suggest how much food should be given
(measurement in cups would be appreciated)?  Everyone tells me
"you can't overfeed a puppy", but overfeeding also means extra
waste, which I could do without.

Also, given that he's 27 pounds at 4 months old, do you have
any indication as to how large he might be when fully grown?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Answer
Hello Andrea

I feed my five month old lab three/four cups daily she gets three meals daily, for a four month old three meals of about a cup or a little more then a cup would be good if hes still hungry try feeding him a biscit in-between meals or adding just a bit more to his three daily meals. I really cant tell you how big he is going to be but as a bit of a guide I can say that my lab weighed 35 pounds last month and weighs 40 pounds now and she has a very large mother and father, so it depends on how big his pernants were and how big the pernants, pernants were.
